What is a holograph will ?
It is a document that is handwritten entirely by the person themselves, intended for those left behind.
You can express your wishes regarding the disposition of your estate.
You can create it at any time with paper and a ballpoint pen , and you can rewrite it at any time.
Also, if you create a separate inventory of your possessions (it doesn't have to be handwritten ), the number of characters you have to write by hand will be reduced, and the burden of writing will be lighter. If there is a space or a table to write, you can write it at a coffee shop or a park. You can do it anytime, anywhere.
The contents can be kept secret and the cost is the lowest . It is legally protected by the Civil Code, and the will storage system allows the Legal Affairs Bureau to store it for 3,900 yen . In the event of your death, you can also have the existence of your will notified to the person you specify .
We recommend handwritten wills even more because they will no longer require probate after the inheritance begins (submitting the will to the family court, opening it and checking its contents) .

How to write a will
① Check the inheritance.
Land and building registration certificates, fixed asset appraisal certificates, savings and deposit passbooks, stock and government bond transaction documents, automobile appraisals, golf membership and copyright appraisals, life insurance certificates, painting and jewelry transaction documents, liabilities, borrowings (mortgages, car loans), unpaid expenses, guarantee liabilities
Cemeteries and gravestones are not considered inheritance property.
Think about who you want to inherit your assets.
The testator is free to decide who will inherit what and how it will be divided.
However, it will be important to take care not to infringe on the inheritance right.
③Please prepare a draft.
Based on ① and ②, please create a draft like example sentence ① or ②.
We recommend that you include a message expressing the testator's feelings .
If the inheritance procedures are complicated, you may also want to appoint an executor.
④ Use the original draft (excluding the property inventory and copies of bankbooks) as a model and write everything by hand on a new A4 sheet of paper.
The asset inventory in example sentence ② does not have to be handwritten; it can be created using a word processor or spreadsheet software. Please date it, sign and stamp it.
⑤We recommend that you have the completed will stored at the Legal Affairs Bureau.
This makes the documents less likely to be tampered with and makes it easier to keep them secret; if you request notification to a designated person, the designated person will be notified about the documents' storage after it has been confirmed that you have passed away.
Another option is a notarized will .
This is recommended if you would prefer to have a will dictated rather than handwritten . It is created by a notary public , so it is unlikely to be invalidated. The testator simply needs to talk about the will to the notary public.
A signature and seal are required at the end. Probate is not required.

公文書類の収集、法定相続情報一覧図、遺産分割協議書作成を代行いたします。重要な事項のみに重点を置いた格安プランとなります。なお不動産の相続登記、売却、純確定申告、相続税申告などの外部委託事項につきましては、別途費用を要します。別サイトでも掲載しています。
相続手続きフルプラン 150,000円
公文書類の収集、法定相続情報一覧図、遺産分割協議書作成、その他の手続を代行いたします。その他の手続として、銀行口座、株式などの手続きをプラスした、主な事項をほぼ含んでいるプランとなります。なお不動産の相続登記手続き、売却、準確定申告、相続税申告などの外部委託事項につきましては、別途費用を要します。別サイトでも掲載しています。
遺言執行 執行財産の2パーセント
遺言の内容を実現することを遺言執行といいます。遺言執行者は定める必要はありません。定めれば遺言執行者は１人で遺言を実行できます。遺言に執行者の指名がない場合は、家庭裁判所に、執行者選任の申立てができます。もし遺言執行者としてご指名いただいた場合、就任費用は無料といたします。遺言による子の認知、相続廃除などは、遺言執行者を必要としますが、外部委託事項になります。別途費用を要します。また不動産の相続登記手続き、売却、準確定申告、相続税申告などの外部委託事項につきましては、別途費用を要します。別サイトでも掲載しています。
任意後見契約 月30,000円～
判断能力に不安を感じられるとき、任意後見人（ご本人が選んだお世話をしてくれる人）を選び、委任する内容（して欲しいこと）を公正証書によって契約しておきます。 現実に判断能力が不十分になったとき、任意後見人が委任された内容を行うしくみです。 健康状態や生活状況（生活費、財産など）についてお聞かせください。最寄りの家庭裁判所に監督人を依頼していただきます。この方が、後見（お世話）を契約どおりやれているかを監督しますので安心です。こちらの専用サイトもございます。ご覧ください。別サイトでも掲載しています。
